Exodus

“The great departure”

Exodus was written by Moses as a chronicle of Israel’s deliverance from Egypt + their growth as God’s CHOSEN nation. Exodus tells the stories of more miracles than any other Old Testament book.

God gave the Law to Israel at Mt. Sinai. This law given shows us GOD’S standard of living and is still instructional for us today. It is known as the Ten Commandments. The Instruction for the building of the Tabernacle were also given and the tabernacle was constructed.

“And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people, and have heard their cry …come now therefore, I will send you to Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring my people the children of Israel OUT of Egypt.

-Exodus 3:7-10
