Genesis

“The Book of Beginnings”

Genesis was written by Moses during Israel’s’ wanderings in the wilderness. It was written to record the history of creation, the history of the beginnings of all nations and especially, the history of God’s chosen people, Israel who he set apart to be an example to the rest of the world as they worshiped him.

“ So god created man in his own image…”

-Genesis 1:27

“And I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”
